No Halloween party is complete without some fun games. Here are three Halloween party game ideas for your get together this Halloween.

Pin the Face on the Pumpkin This is a variation of pin the tail on the donkey with a Halloween twist. There is some preparation ahead of time needed to play the game, but it is a lot of fun for all ages. There are actually two different variations to this game.
Jack O Lantern Ball Dart Game

Version 1 Make large orange cut outs of pumpkins before the party. Have each guest create a specific facial feature. These features should include eyes, nose, mouth and stem. Each guest should make at least three different versions of their assigned part. Now the game begins. Every player has 2 minutes to make three pumpkins using the parts made and the precut pumpkins. Use glue sticks or tape to attach the parts to the pumpkins. The same game can be played with ghost shapes.

Version 2 Make items ahead of time, including facial features and pumpkins. Each guest takes turns pulling a feature from a bowl and gluing it onto a pumpkin. Play continues until all facial features and parts are used. This method can also be done with markers and have each player draw a different facial feature for their turn. Create funny faces and then hang the finished products for decorations..

Relay Races Relay races can be a lot of fun at any party. There are many different versions that can be used at your next Halloween party. Here are a few more Halloween party game ideas:

1. Have dress up clothes set aside for teams. They can compete as teams or individuals. Each player must dress up, run to a specific spot and back then undress. The next player on the team then repeats the process until everyone has finished.

2. Have one player on each team dress in a costume provided for this game. Make the costume elaborate with many items that can be easily removed. After the team looks the person over for 1 minute the player goes to another room and removes one or more pieces of the costume. When they return the first team to correctly identify all parts of the costume that were removed wins the round.

3. Have teams blow through straws to move ping pong balls decorated as eyes from one place to another. This race can also use paper cut outs of bats, ghosts or pumpkins.

4. Decorate white balloons as ghosts and pass them without using hands.

5. Provide a disassembled skeleton model for each team to reassemble. This can be a large model or simply a paper model.

Cursed Text Halloween tradition often involves scary stories and tall tales that have curses. Create a ‘cursed’ story for your guests by changing the order of the letters in many of the words in a paragraph. As long as the first and last letter of the changed word are correct, many people will be able to read the text. Here is a simple example:

Ocne uopn a time trehe was a wkcied wctih who wanted to be buaefitul.

Once upon a time there was a wicked witch who wanted to be beautiful.

Rewrite an entire story or just a paragraph and see who can read it. Another option is to write some clues in this way and hold a scavenger hunt.

These are few ideas for some fun Halloween party game ideas that can be played at a party or whenever kids get bored.
